Spring 2013 LookBook – Romance in the Spring

I recently put together a spring 2013 look book for a final project in my trends & concepts in apparel class.

My whole theme was based upon romance because I saw lots of flowing gowns and skirts. There was also embroidery work on fabrics. There was a softness on the runways that made me feel romance. I feel romance for spring 2013.

Looking at tons of runway shows, I saw alot of nude and mint colors. I put this inspiration board based on those colors and these are the pictures that inspired me to put these upcoming looks together.

These looks are very casual and your typical walk in the park type look. These looks are very chic and very comfy.

I also saw different colors of pink and I instantly thought of romance and high class.

These looks are very high class. These outfits would be worn typically on a night out on the town. As you can see I took looks off of the runway and put a look together.

I also saw pure whites and off whites on the runway. I feel like these colors will be worn on the red carpet in 2013. We will be seeing alot of celebs wearing whites and off white on the red carpet.

Here are some looks that were on the runway and the ones I replicated and added accessories. This looks are very classy and sophisticated.

And there you have your looks for spring 2013. I worked long and hard on this project and I cant wait to see these trends come alive in spring 2013
